Warranty
Residential Limited Warranty
Kabinets by Design ("the Company") warrants to the original purchaser ("the Client") that our cabinets, cabinetry, millwork, and/or products manufactured and supplied ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential usage for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:

Structural components of the cabinets, including doors, drawers, and panels.

Doors equal to or less than 24” in width and 64” in height are warrantied against warpage more than ¼”.
-
Thermofoil doors are warrantied against bubbling and delamination.
-
Hardware such as hinges and drawer slides.
-
The maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the net invoice price (before tax) of the Products as sold by the Company.
-
Labour is warrantied for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
-
Damage caused by improper installation by Client, misuse, abuse, neglect, exposure to sitting water, water vapour, or accidents.
-
Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, dents, or finish deterioration.
-
Variations in wood grain, color, or texture, which are natural characteristics of wood.
-
"Yellowing" or UV damage to stained and painted products.
-
Modifications or alterations made to the cabinets after purchase.
-
Cabinets used in non-residential settings or installed outdoors.
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, the Client must:

Notify the Company in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.
-
Provide proof of purchase and photos or other documentation of the defect.
-
Allow the Company reasonable access to inspect the cabinets, as necessary.
Remedies
If a defect is found during the warranty period, the Company will, at its discretion:
-
Repair the defective cabinet component.
-
Replace the defective cabinet component with a new one of equal or greater value.
-
If the exact color or style is no longer available, the Company reserves the right to provide a comparable substitute.
Limitations
-
The Company is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to labor costs for removal and reinstallation, loss of use, or loss of profits.

The Company reserves the right to make the final decision on all warranty claims.
Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the Products
Commercial Limited Warranty
Kabinets by Design ("the Company") warrants to the original purchaser ("the Client") that our cabinets, cabinetry, millwork, and/or products manufactured and supplied ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential usage for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers:
